Mr Clark has been a Partner in accounting firms since early 2000, and has been in public practice since 1991. He completed his Articling in 1994, and in 1995 obtained his CA designation. After working as an accountant with a small firm from 1995 to 1996 Clark joined Ernst & Young at the start of 1997 in their Small Business group.

In 2000 Clark became a Partner with Luna Clark & Associates, which later became Luna Clark Tanaguchi. In 2005 Clark left the firm to start Clark Adams Chartered Accountants to better serve the needs of individuals, and small- to medium-sized companies.

Clark lives in Calgary with his wife and two children. He is active in his community as well as an avid golfer and tournament-level pool player.
